Remembrance Day

9 Nov

Rememberance Day is a very special day for me, my family and families across Canada.  It is the day we celebrate those who fought for our freedom. I have a great grandfather that was killed in the war. He died saving a soldier who had been hit by gunfire – he was killed by a bomb.  Last year I went to Normandy with my entire family to visit where my Great Grandfather fought and died. I am so proud that he fought for us, and our country.  I will always remember the men and woman who fought with their hearts and souls to make our lives better. I could thank all of them. We love you and we will never forget you. – Macy

Rememberance day is the one selfless day a year, where you think about the brave people who fought for our lives and freedom. Rememberance day is a day that you give your hours of the day to support the loved ones, of the soldiers that died. Remember November 11th.  It is a day of Remembrance. – Ava

Remembrance day is a special day when we honor every Canadian soldier for making the greatest sacrafice of all for their country.  It is a day when we think of their families and thank them.  Thank you veterans and soldiers for fighting for our country. We will never forget.  – Nation
